Photos of landscapes are some of the easiest pictures you’ll get; the real trick is getting to those breathtaking spots. Here are some of my favorite landscape shots I’ve taken.

Unlike people and animals, buildings don’t run away from you. Buildings and architecture can be magnificent, but unless your photos stand out, they’ll look like every other architecture photo. Here are some photos I’ve taken of buildings that I love.

When you have a living subject in your photo, getting the perfect shot can be a bit of a struggle—since people and animals love to move around. When it comes to street photography, candid photos can be especially hard, considering most people don’t like to be photographed. This problem is also very relevant in journalism, since some people don’t want you to document, and some people just don’t want to be on film. Below are some photos I’ve taken of people and animals.

What we see through our eyes are only reflections of light, and cameras capture images the same way. Lighting in photography is so important, which therefore makes low-light or nighttime photography tricky. Below are some of my favorite low-light photos that I’ve taken.
